The Retreat at Quarters Lake provides a compassionate, holistic approach to grief and bereavement support. By blending traditional group counseling with innovative
therapies, The Retreat offers a safe and nurturing space for individuals of all ages to process loss in meaningful ways. In addition to grief support groups, The Retreat provides alternative healing modalities, including:

Art and music therapy
Pet therapy
Grief yoga and meditative movement
Guided spiritual exercises

The Retreat at Quarters Lake, by The Hospice of Baton Rouge, a 501c3, serves children, teens, and adults in Greater Baton Rouge, offering support beyond traditional clinical settings. With the generosity of South Louisiana families and corporate partners, we have secured essential lead gifts-but there is still much work to be done.
